The Sports Court of Arbitration (CAC) dismissed the appeal of Portuguese midfielder Adrian Silva regarding his filing in Leicester, the court said. FIFA refused to register it after the necessary documents were received 14 seconds after the deadline. Leicester and Sporting (Lisbon) agreed on ? 22m for the Portuguese national on the last day of the August 31 transfer window, but a delay in the FIFA documentation prevented the midfielder from playing for the team.


Silva appealed against FIFA`s decision and asked CAC `urgent interim measures` to allow him to be filmed in Leicester until the final decision on the case was taken.

The CAC has announced that it has rejected the request for interim measures, but the discussion will continue and `the final advised by football predictions company decision will be taken after a hearing whose date is yet to be determined`.
