Former Formula 1 driver Timo Glock supported Mick Schumacher, who lost his place in Haas at the end of the 2022 season.


Schumacher`s place will be taken by Nico Hulkenberg, while Mick himself is likely to spend next season as a reserve driver for Mercedes.


Mick is calm, does not work to the detriment of the team, and at the age of 23 he has already become a wonderful person. I want to wish him to take a step forward next year, even working only as a test driver - probably in a Mercedes.


His goal should be to grow with the team, come back in 2024 and show everyone what he`s really made of. It seems to me that Mick is able to demonstrate much more potential with the proper support - which Gunther Steiner, unfortunately, could not provide. I`m sure the leaders of other teams in such a situation would have coped better, " said Glock.
